Pet care experience
Growing up, my family had various pets and my siblings and I were responsible for their care and training. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, parakeets, conures, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, horses, and even pot belly pigs! I also have experience training dogs and cats to go potty in the desired area (e.g., outside, kitty litter box, puppy pads, etc.) and encouraging good behavior. I am an outdoor person and therefore genuinely enjoy taking pets on long walks outside and ensuring that they get a proper amount of exercise.

Erika is a terrific pet and house sitter. I have an elderly dog with many challenges and Erika, a true animal lover, gained my trust and earned my gratitude for the care she provided for my dog. (She also kept the house organized and tidy.) I would recommend Erica highly for many reasons, as she is reliable, responsible, and of solid character.
Erika looked after my cat Beetle while I was away for the weekend and she did a great job! She updated me every day on how my cat was doing and I felt very safe knowing that Beetle was being looked after. Great experience overall!
I would highly recommend Erika as a pet sitter. For over five years now I have counted on Erika to sit or take care of my pets when needed. Erika is always caring, gentle and affectionate with the variety of animals I have had over the years. First my dog and a bunny, then my two cats. Erika can always be counted on to abide by any special diets or needs of my pets if the situation calls for it. She is prompt and dependable. My pets adore her and they have developed a special bond. To whom it may concern, I highly recommend Erika Burgess for pet sitting. She has assisted with looking after my pets for about 5 years now. When she first began pet sitting, I had a dog and currently now have 2 cats. Erika is extremely capable of both lovingly and carefully looking after all types of animals. She has been very mindful of any restrictive diets my cats have been on, which have been a couple. She is not afraid of any animals, and she enjoys taking them outside for walks and play time. She has always been my pet sitter and I have refereed her to family and friends. Finding someone I trust for my pets is priceless!

Availability
Though I am a full-time college student, I commute to school and therefore I will be able to care for your pet in the mornings and evenings. Furthermore, as it happens, I do not have classes on Mondays or Fridays during the Fall 2022 semester (August 29th - December 12th). Therefore, I will be able to spend all day with your pet Friday - Monday! Moreover, I frequently go on morning runs around my neighborhood and I would be happy to bring your pet along if you would prefer for them to get some exercise!
