Lots of room to lounge and play. We have 2 fenced in yards, both have plenty of trees and shade. We live on 5 acres that back up to trails on BLM land. I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility. I have had pets my entire life. With our ideal dog property we have had lots of furry guests, that we have hosted for traveling friends over the years. My wife and 12 year old daughter love dogs. Both my wife and daughter enjoy Salida's 4 day school week. We have Dixie who is a goofy, lovable shepherd mix who gets along with the vast majority of dogs she encounters. We live 7 miles east of town, in Swissvale. We love the Salida area and would be happy to share our local knowledge, for out of town guests, of the different options available for biking, fishing, skiing , hiking, camping, dining etc.
