Pet care experience
I am a person that loves dogs. I am also an artist and techno geek. I love to make paintings featuring dogs. I love walking dogs. I love playing with dogs. I love talking to dogs. I have never met a dog that I did not like. Even some "so called" mean dogs are simply lovable creatures inside waiting to be engaged. They are intelligent beings but, alien. To have a relationship with a dog is truly something special and unique. God is so kind as to give Mankind the Dog. At this time in my life I want to be more engaged with dogs because, it makes me a better person and it helps many working people. I worked as a computer programmer for 10 years. It used to break my heart leaving my dog at home all day long, 10 hours including the drive. There are probably millions of people working hard who feel the way I did but cant do anything about it because they must get to the office. Some jobs let people work from home and that is truly the "holy grail" of jobs. However, those jobs are rare. I made my profile on Rover to help people and help dogs. If I can be surrounded by dogs all the time I would be a very happy person.

I want to thank Erik for taking care of Peanut. I loved that Erik sent me pictures and video of my little Peanut. Knowing she was in good care made my vacation time so much more enjoyable. The house was great and thank you so much Erik for showing me that food that you are feeding little Shevah. Her shine and glow both internal and external are really great and I am convinced that all of it comes from a good "real" diet. I have seen great improvements with Peanut since she has been on the new food. The problem with her coat is completely gone. Her breath is better too. I will never understand why my Vet has not told me about feeding my baby this way. The dry kibble bag food I was giving her was killing her and I am so thankful that we found you. I tried 4 different kinds of dog foods recommended by the vet. All of them made Pnut sick. I will always turn to you to take care of my baby. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all the love and caring and advice on diet that you gave me. You are truly a special person and I hope that God rewards you with whatever it is that you do. See you soon, Pnut is almost out of her food so I have to order some more from you soon. By the way, she loved the chicken so whatever chicken you have that Shevah wont eat I will take. Thanks!
Hello. I want to thank Rover for making this all possible. I am from Sweden but travel to Miami several times a year for business and because I have family in Miami Beach south. My dog ABBA does not travel well. She is to much big in size to keep on my lap or stowe under the seat and I do not wish to put her in the underbelly of the plane with general cargo. Because I found Erik on Rover I prefer to leave ABBA with him when I have to go back to Sweden if my family cannot care for ABBA. Erik is kind and I know he loves ABBA just as much as I do. I really appreciate the images he sends to me over the Internet. And this is what really made me appreciate Erik. ABBA snores like a horse when she sleeps. Erik placed a Baby Monitor WiFi next to ABBA when she sleeps. In Sweden I hear my girl snore over the WiFi. This was really touching my heart and I appreciate the clever approach from Erik very much. As for now ABBA stay with Erik until I get back. She also seems to be better adjusted to other dogs. No more growl and shown teeth at other males.
Erik takes care of Molly about 3 times a week and also on Sunday. I really appreciate the fact that Erik is home full time so I am assured that Molly will not be alone. I was working with two other dog walkers but they both had jobs and also lived in an apartment. I live in an apartment now and I know what a pain it is just to get out of the building. You have to go to the lobby, elevator etc.. The sitters I WAS working with had several dogs and the building would only allow one dog to go out at a time. It was not ideal for Molly. The other walker lived in a old apartment building that had no security, no double locking gates like Erik's house has. It was not ideal so I am happy that I found Erik on Rover. The house he's in is perfect for dogs. Full gate around the yard. Shade and air conditioned parts for dog resting. He even feeds and washes Molly for free. I can tell he really cares about my dog and that is what is most important to me. Thanks Erik I really appreciate your help.
I started out using Erik as a dog walker for about 2 months. He was always there when I need him. I got updates with pictures and videos via whatsapp. I love the fact that Erik is home full time and has a secure house to put my pup in for the day when I need it. I was using other people on Rover that had only apartments and I feel much better knowing that my Waggles has a real home with grass to chill out on. The apartments are pretty small usually I found on Rover and it is more difficult for the dogs to get outside. This is why I went with Erik due to his full time availability and the fact that he has a secure home to use.

I love all breeds so that does not matter. Some big dogs can be dangerous. They are strong, they must be respected. The jaws of a Pit Bull can easily crush human bone. To ignore this fact is silly. However, there are also some very loving big strong dogs. I actually take care of one you can see her in my pictures. Luna is a big white, 4 year old American Bulldog. A lot about "the dog" really depends on "the owner". So, it is important to not only get to know the dog but, I also need to get to know the owner too. I also would like to know what you feed your dog. If you give your dog treats? Does your dog have some toy or toys that are the favorite? I would like to know if your dog lives alone or with other animals.
A typical day
The dog sanctuary I created is safe and fun for your dog. It is more of a "Dog Camp" than a doggie day care. Your dog will run, swim, jump, roll and do all those things dogs love to do. After a rest period your dog will be bathed, dried and brushed. You will pick up your dog clean, soft, and smelling great. Your dog will most likely be tired from a full day of fun and ready to rest. I also like to walk dogs in the neighborhood. I also arrange trips to local parks because dogs get bored of walking in the same place all the time. Dogs need to see and especially "smell" new things. So if possible I can take the dog to different parks or even neighborhoods so they can experience new scents. And honestly, it is also a benefit for me. I love to walk to keep fit and healthy.
