Pet care experience
I’ve been trusted with taking care of pets for many years now. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, chickens, etc.. Dogs I have looked after include: large, medium, small dogs, puppies, female dogs in heat, sick and old dogs, dogs who take daily medication, etc.. I have also taken care of cats (kittens and elderly), multiple cats at the same time; with and without dogs. I am capable and willing to take care of pets any way the owner needs me to.

Erick has been the best puppy sitter EVER! I’ve never been able to trust someone to take care of my puppies and when I saw the kind words everyone said about Erick, I knew I had to have him look after Harley. Now I can finally take vacations since I have someone I can fully trust. Erick was very communicative and responsible! He even mopped my floors, took out the trash, washed a few dishes… like WHATTTT! Thank you Erick! Will definitely be using you on the next vacation!
Highly recommend Erick for taking care of your pet while you are away. He watched my GSD while I had to take a short trip out of town, and I had zero concerns while I was gone. He was able to maintain my dog’s daily routine, had great communication, and overall took very good care of my pup!
I’ve used Erick in the past; however, he was completely unreliable and did not communicate well with me about the times he would be checking in with my dog this time. We made arrangements for specific days and times and without telling me, he switched the times- choosing the time he would be feeding her, letting her outside, etc., without any communication on his end. One evening I had to have someone else stop by instead of him. Then, had to cancel him as a sitter while out of town and rushing to find someone to care for my dog. Only reason I’m leaving 2 stars is because my dog did seem to like him. Unfortunately, we won’t be booking with Erick again.
Erick is very responsive and made me feel at ease when leaving my pup at home during a trip. I’m positive my dog had a wonderful time playing with him! I’ll definitely be booking again with Erick.

I typically go to the client’s home to care for their pets. When I go to a client’s home, I do everything they ask of me and am able to stay overnight. In my experience, it is a better situation for the pets when they get to stay in their own home. When I stay overnight, I’m comfortable having the pets sleep with me if that is something they are used to. I do my best to keep them on the same schedule they are used to for meals, walks, etc. Their comfort and the owner's peace of mind are my ultimate goals!

I always ask clients specific questions about their pets before the first day of caring for the pets. I want to know things such as what their pet can and cannot eat. I want to know where their pet is allowed and not allowed to go in/around the home. If their pet has medications or a history of any kind of abnormal behaviors. What to do in case of emergencies. What the protocol is if I am not at the home for an extended period of time. Where everything is kept in the home pertaining to the pet. Along with all other expectations the clients have for myself.
A typical day
Whether it be cats, dogs, or other animals, I make sure the pet becomes acquainted with me so they become comfortable. While caring for the pet, I enjoy playing fetch or tug of war with dogs as well as running around with them. With cats I try to give them scratches and enough attention so they know I am friendly and care about them. I also really enjoy taking dogs for walks around the home but can also take them elsewhere if requested. I am happy to care for the client’s pet(s) however they are used to being cared for.

I am currently in athletics and am able to make my own schedule. I am typically busy during the middle of each day but can make adjustments if needed. Early mornings and late evenings are easiest for my schedule.
