I am a veterinarian with a lifetime of owning a dog. As a veterinarian I have learned how to give a variety of medications and how to work with a large amount of different doggy personalities. Being able to watch your dog while you are away will be just as rewarding to me as it will be to your dog! I am very active and I love to go on long walks, hikes, and to cuddle! When you are on vacation I will be available if you want to check in on your pooch and I can send updates whenever you would like. In the past I have watched dogs in the neighborhood and provided dog walking services. I have a great love for dogs and believe they should have just as much fun as you when you are on vacation! My husband works from home and will be available to let your dog out into our fenced in yard during the day. We have a 7 year old mix breed female dog that would love someone to hang out with during the day, but if your dog is not social with other dogs we can accommodate for that too.
Reviews
We have had Erica visiting with our dogs regularly for over a month now. Most recently, she took care of our boys for a long weekend while we were away. Everything was fine during our check-ins and when we returned, the house was in great shape, and our dogs were sleeping and comfortable. When she comes to visit now, they greet her with their "you're in the pack" enthusiasm. They are our primary reviewers, and they clearly give her 5 stars. We are also overjoyed to have found someone we know we can trust with our four-legged family members. Erica is the complete package: knowledgeable, respectful, personable, and professional.
Just getting started with Erica, but my wife and I are quite happy with what we've experienced so far. We like her, and more importantly, our dogs like her. Looking forward to more short visits and a longer one is already booked.

I love going on long walks. I like to go on rail trails in the area or wooded nature walks. If your dog is an outdoor enthusiast I will also take them on hikes all around Vermont!

Availability
I am working full time, but can easily do morning walks before 7:30am and I am available around 3:30 in the afternoon to spend time with your animals! My husband works from home and has had dogs his whole life, so will be able to keep an eye on your dog throughout the whole day.
