Pet care experience
My work in animal care started at boarding/daycare facilities, getting dirty and running around with up to 30 dogs in all seasons. I bathed dogs for a groomer and grew a second heart for standard poodles. I've regularly cared for pets of friends and neighbors, and I am certified through Equissage as an equine and canine massage therapist. Most recently, I worked as a veterinary assistant for four years at an emergency veterinary hospital.I'm comfortable administering medications in any form, and highly aware of any warning signs or potential dangers so that no time is wasted in case of emergency. I am an active, outdoorsy person and will exercise your dogs with long walks or hikes, if you'd like. Of course I am always game for mellow hangs, if your pup is older, ill, or just prefers the loafing lifestyle. I am here to help you help your pet have the happiest life possible, because love moves in circles, and we all deserve to receive as much as we give.

I currently care for my own dog by first and foremost constantly reminding him how much he is loved. I love to take him to local woods any chance we get. He's from the Redwoods, so I like to think he gets in touch with his origins here :) Clients will also be showered with affection (if they're into that) and exercised as much (or as little) as their hearts' content. I'm a naturally quiet and low-reactionary person, so animals should feel at ease in our shared space. What more can I say - I'm here to keep animals happy and healthy, so that's what I'll do!

A typical day
I love getting as deep into nature as possible any chance I get, so we can go on hikes and play in rivers if your dog is the adventurous type! I'm open to involving a dog in as many aspects of life as possible, so it's really up to you where you feel comfortable with your dog going.
