We live on seven acres and are animal lovers! We have dogs of our own, and love bringing in new dogs to play. Quiet home, far from major roads, with lots of room to run around. My husband and I opted not to have kids - but to enjoy four-legged kids instead! We are able to shut off part of the house and garage from the rest of the house, and that is where our dogs go when we are not home. Dogs are allowed on the furniture - really, anywhere, except the kitchen. If dogs want to sleep on the bed, they are allowed to, although currently only one of our dogs does that. We feed twice a day, around 8am and 6pm. Although our property is not currently fully fenced, we do have a fenced area for dogs to play, and we take ours out on a 30' leash for walks. I work primarily from home. Our Shorty was older, so we have experience with elderly dogs, and Finnegan is deaf, so we also have experience with special needs. I've administered medications in pill, powder, and subcutaneous injection form. I've done dog sitting off and on through college and have experience with big and small dogs, multiple dogs, etc. I love the challenge for getting to know a new dog.
