Pet care experience
I have owned dogs most of my life, and I own a cat now. I am an experienced dog-sitter - I have watched up to six dogs at once and taken care of elderly dogs, puppies, and greyhounds. I have successfully trained both animals. I have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I book care for my own cat through Rover, so I know the system and what pet owners look for. I also babysit/nanny children, from which I have learned responsibility, patience, and resourcefulness. I graduated college with a biomedical engineering degree and live and work in Burlington. I have a car of my own.

Erica did an amazing job taking care of my cat while I was on vacation! Since it was the first time she'd taken care of my cat, she came over for a meet and greet first and was very prepared with lots of questions which I appreciated. My cat warmed up to her really quickly, and she sent great updates every day so I knew he was doing well! I would highly recommend her!
I definitely recommend Erica to anybody looking for pet care while traveling! She took amazing care of my 2 cats while I was gone. She stopped by twice a day and spent quality time with my cats. I always received photos after each visit, and the cats definitely loved her! She took the time to feed them, give them new water, scoop litter, play with them, and love on them at each visit. She kept everything tidy and cleaned any messes that the cats made. Also, her communication was great and I didn’t have to worry about the cats while I was gone. I will definitely be rebooking with Erica in the future! :)
Erica is amazing. Its very easy to go and check on a pet, but thats not what she does- she goes in and makes sure not only I have peace of mind, but that the cats are happy as well. She is truly caring and sweet and my very spoiled cats adore her. When Erica visits, she really interacts with the cats by letting them choose what treats they want, cleans their boxes, snuggles with them, and even cleans up any treats they did not eat avoiding a mess. One cat is an elusive creature with no interest in anyone who isn't me typically. She was able to Crack through that shell and now he is all about it. She sends very detailed day to day interaction notes with photos that make my day. Going away from the cats is always hard and I dread it. Knowing Erica is taking care of them makes everything so much easier. Thus is my second time choosing her as my sitter, and it certainly won't be the last.
We loved having Erica play with our Fur baby.

I'm willing to watch pets that aren't potty trained. I'm also willing to drive your pet in my car to a dog park or other location for a fun outing. For an extra fee, I can also wash your pet (yes, cats too). I have years of experience in keeping dogs and cats safe. I know how to dog-proof and cat-proof a home, so although I don't sit pets in my own home due to the terms of my lease agreement, I will abide by your safety rules and know what to look out for and how to behave to keep your pet safe. I love all animals and would never do anything to harm one.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors. While I don't discriminate by breed or size, I am a 5'3" female and may have difficulty walking multiple/very strong dogs that tend to pull at their leash.
A typical day
I will give your pet all the pets they want. I will play and run with them using a variety of toys. I will take them on walks and let them stop to smell as much as they want. If you want, I will take them to the dog park and watch them closely while we're there.

Availability
I work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7am-7pm. The rest of the week I'll be completely free to care for your pet. I'll also be able to drop in before or after work on weekends if needed.
