Pet care experience
- I am a proud owner of loving 85lb chocolate lab back on mainland. I personally trained him commands "sit, stay, speak, wait, spin, shake, sit pretty, leave it,down, play dead." -current owner of 1-year old sweet husky who is off-leash trained Experience with: medium/large dog breeds, puppies, stubborn breeds, and training basic commands with positive reinforcement. I have a love and passion for dogs. I truly believe that a dog is an integral member of the family (including yours!). As a previous elementary school teacher, I have a patient and calm disposition. Be assured that your furry friend will be cared for with the utmost kindness! Dogs in my watch will receive physical and mental stimulation, along with basic obedience (sit, down) if desired.

Erica was awesome! We left our Great Dane with her for 1 week and she took him to the park every day and we got pictures every night. I will only be using her to watch Aston in the future.
Erica is a wonderful pet sitter! I asked her if she could watch my pup a week before I was leaving and she was very open to helping me out on such short notice. I felt very confident leaving my baby with her. She assured me that she would keep the rules the same at her house as they were at ours (like no being on furniture, no people food, sleeping in the crate at night). During his stay I got multiple pictures and videos of my pup playing and snuggling with her dog, they got along so well! Anytime I had questions or just missed him and wanted a picture she quickly responded making me feel great about who I chose to watch my baby. She even gave him a bath willingly! The day I picked him up he seemed so happy (and clean!) and I could tell he became part of the family while he was in her care. I highly recommend Kristen as a dog sitter.
Ok, what to say about Erica? She's caring and 100% devoted to any dog's wellbeing. I got to see this first hand when see watched my 3-year-old yellow lab, Dewey, for not 1 but 5 weeks during this past summer. I was indisposed and away for work. During his stay, she kept me informed with daily photos and a phone call about once a week (or as I wanted) about how he was doing. When I finally came home, Dewey was in such great shape, well nourished, and full of energy that I could tell that his best interests and mine were taken to heart in Erica's eyes. Can't stop saying good things about Erica! Highly recommended! Thanks again!

-Dogs must be kennel and potty trained (Feeding schedule, bowls, and dog food provided by owner) -Must get along well with other dogs -Meet/Greet set-up to ensure that your dog and my husky are compatible -Please note any behavioral concerns (chewer, barker, etc.) -Will not accept dogs with history of aggression or biting -If you would like your dog to have daily walks please include appropriate harness, leash, or other walking equipment. Dog must behave politely on-leash. -All medium to giant dog breeds accepted
A typical day
While in my care, dogs will receive both physical and mental stimulation. This includes fetch, daily walks around MCBH, and water playtime in a kiddy pool (only if your pup is a water fan!). If desired, we can work on basic commands (sit, down, etc.) during their stay. I currently own a 1 year-old in-home husky-your pup will always have a fun playmate! I am at home throughout the day. This means that your furry family member will never feel lonely with very minimal kennel time (night, bedtime).
