Having never used Rover before I was not sure what to expect. I only knew that I needed to find someone who would take the absolute best care of my very sweet 8- year-old cocker spaniel. I spent considerable time going through profiles, carefully reading each one. I finally came across Erica. Her profile instantly made me feel like she was someone I could be friends with; someone I could trust to care for and love Bey. Her open and honest communication and love for animals is evident and in getting the opportunity to meet beforehand to see if she'd be a good fit to watch Bey, that became even clearer. I have an extremely social dog but Bey took to Erica immediately upon their initial visit. In fact, she sat in her lap the entire time Erica came to meet us. The day I dropped Bey off, Erica and her boyfriend Alex who is also super hands on in watching and caring for the animals, were waiting for Bey with open arms. We went over all the specifics of her diet,etc. and within about 5 mins Bey was on the couch playing with Alex! I left that day knowing I had made the best decision leaving her in such loving hands. For the 5 days I was gone, Erica communicated with me by sending updates on Bey's activities and pictures of what she was doing. Pick up was as as seamless as drop off and Bey would have happily stayed with Erica and Alex for long as they'd have her -- she had such a good time! I cannot thank them enough for making this experience such a success and putting at ease any fears I had about using Rover. Erica is an amazing pet sitter and she goes above and beyond to ensure your beloved family member is happy and thriving. Thank you, Erica and Alex.
