Pet care experience
I know that it can be unnerving leaving your best buddy behind, that's why I take every step to make sure your friend is taken care of like one of my own! I have a nice house with a fenced yard in one of the less busy parts of town,and enjoy easy access to both Kenton and Boone County Dog parks. I like to keep both myself and the dogs busy so we frequently take trips in my car to the park or spend lots of time walking or fetching in the back yard! This is a loving home where we use positive training methods and reward good behavior frequently with love, toys, and of course, treats. I work and study out of my home so your dog would be with company all day and can enjoy playing, snoozing, and chowing down on their regular schedule. All care will be done as per your instructions and your buddy will be loved like a member of the family while they're around. I have experience with fostering a number of puppies and cats have raised both of my dogs from infancy. My scheduling is flexible and my full time and attention will be focused on providing your animal with the best possible care.

As a first time user of Rover I was very impressed with the professionalism of Erica. She was always prompt in our meetings with her and very accommodating of our needs. Erica sent us pictures and texts messages to inform us of how her stay was going. She was very confident in her ability to handle any sitiation that might arise. I felt very comfortable leaving Micki in her care and will do so again.
Erica is a wonderful young woman, who works hard everyday and strives to reach her goals. She is very kind and gentle, especially with animals; I have never met someone with a bigger heart. Erica puts time and effort into everything she does. She is very creative, always coming up with innovative ways and methods of doing things from small, daily tasks, up to large projects. Erica would be the best person to watch your dog because he or she would not only be watched after but cared for like he\she was one of her own dogs. I feel comfortable recommending her because she does a wonderful job keeping my best friend, Rondo. He is a very high maintenance dog requiring daily physical, mental, and emotional stimulation. Erica is able to meet and excel all expectations I have for Rondo. Give her a try!
My experience with Erica has been great. She is a great animal person, like few that I have met before. Having observed her with her own pets, she is their friend but also their teacher. Well behaved and greatly trained, her dogs seem to have been taken care of by a true professional. That is, Erica. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a sitter or even a trainer to give Erica a try. She's a true dog lover and guru.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I live in a small neighborhood with lots of hills. The area is VERY dog-friendly with almost every house occupied by one or two. There are sidewalks on all streets so we will be safely sticking to those while we walk the area which includes several small parks, many mature trees, and a large network of paths to take. I will walk your dog according to his/her usual routine and his/her physical ability and needs. Your dog's sleeping arrangement If your dog has a kennel or crate they will sleep in there with our dogs who have a small room with their beds and crates. I can also provide a crate should one be needed. Yes, the dogs have their own room. Time I'll spend with your dog Because I work and study out of my home, your dog will be with me all day. My own animals are rarely left alone for more than a couple hours a day (if at all!). I make a point of spending some one on one time with each dog every day and your pooch will be another partner-in-crime! We will also be taking walks at least once a day, length depending on the individual needs and abilities of your dog. Time I'll spend with your dog Depending on the age and needs of your dog, the amount of time they may need will vary. Any preexisting schedule will be upheld as much as possible, including exercise and play. Extra house-sitting services Yes! Being a home-owner, I appreciate it when I can come home to a house where a to-do list isn't waiting.
