She is so kind and the dogs loved her!

This was the most uncomfortable experience of my life. Erica seems nice enough and was good with communicating, however, the conditions of her home is not what I was expecting. I hated that I needed to leave my dog there. When we 1st arrived we immediately tried finding another Rover sitter. We were left with no other options because no one responded. Very unsafe surroundings. We were immediately approached by her neighbor who shoved a phone in our face and was recording us the whole time and were told to get away from there. We had issues finding her apartment because nothing was clearly marked. We were shocked when we finally located it. Her metal screen door was busted, no stairs to get into her apartment. There was ladder and make-shift ramp. My dog eats homemade food and it was very obvious he wasn't fed his typical diet. Also, she never returned the remaining dog food. I dropped my dog off with his bed and it was returned with a bunch of bugs all over it, which I couldn't identify. I was told it was bed bugs. It seems that my dog was never taken out of his walking harness, she only removed the actual leash. I was hopeful considering her 15 (5-star) ratings and the price point. I can't help but feel like those ratings were all a lie. As soon as we came home my dog ran to his crate and hasn't been the same. He's lethargic and not acting like himself. Rover....you need to correct your vetting standards.
