Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats my entire life. Pet sitting is something I have done periodically over the years and am now looking to make it more of a full time profession. After working at a dog and cat boarding/daycare facility, I know I have what it takes to care for you fur baby. Walking, running and/or hiking on the local trails is one of my passions and I love doing that with dogs. Leisurely strolls and plain old romps in the yard are also rewarding to me. Kitty's are just as much as a joy to me as dogs. Whether you want someone to simply watch tv on the couch with you pet or are looking for something more adventurous like hike a mountain, I am the person you are looking for.

Erica was absolutely amazing! She was quick to reply and able to set up a meet and greet on short notice before an also last minute booking. She knew how to let my nervous rescue pup warm up on his own terms, and was great with both my dogs (and my bonus cat appearance). I will definitely reach out whenever the animals need care in the Adirondacks ?
Erica is fantastic! This was our first time using a pet sitting service and we were nervous, but Erica quickly put our minds at ease. She came over before the booking to meet our cat, Gilbert, and they immediately clicked. She is clearly a pet-person. We booked Erica for a week of drop-in visits while we were away on vacation. She was punctual and a great communicator, sending pictures of our fur baby each day. There was a major snowstorm and 12+ hour power outage while we were away, and Erica went above and beyond to communicate with us and make sure Gilbert’s needs were met. She even shoveled our walkway! We highly recommend Erica and will definitely book with her again.

I have a very large, friendly, older dog who enjoys other dogs of all shapes and sizes. I'd love to know if your dog feels the same. If so, maybe they could be friends. If not, I have no problem leaving my hunk of love at home.
A typical day
Living in the Adirondacks I feel most at ease in the woods with a dog so that is a usual day for me. I know of many trails, lakes, and rivers to play in with your pup. Typically, I will pick your dog at your home and drive to an ideal location for some exercise. If your pup is dog friendly, then I will bring along my dog Walker and we will conquer the great outdoors together.

My main priority are my animals and the animals I am hired to care for. I plan my days according to the amount of dogs I need to walk/look in on, the times the need to be tended to and the locations of each pet.
