I have been caring for dogs for a little over 4 years, starting when I adopted my first Chihuahua mix puppy and had to quickly learn the best ways to train and socialize a small breed pup with a big personality :) I have experience with (and a soft spot for) fearful/sensitive dogs, including those who may demonstrate fear-based aggression. I am comfortable interacting with dogs of all personalities and sizes. I especially enjoy practicing reward-based training, gentle behavior correction (nipping, barking, etc.), and working with young pups to help them grow up to be the best dogs they can be! I have extensive experience with puppies (including positive, reward-based house training and crate training), senior dogs/dogs with limited mobility, high-energy pups who need stimulating exercise, and dogs who experience separation anxiety. As the owner of one fearless bub who will eat/jump off or on/investigate/chase anything and everything, I am also quite experienced with administering medications and keeping a very close eye on dogs who may need some extra attention :)
