I am an older non-smoking woman who loves dogs, have since I was a little girl. My late husband and I spent 30 years rescuing dogs, using love, treats, verbal instructions or a time out to train them. I only have one dog now, Jilli, who loves other dogs, so if your dog wants, he/she would have a playmate! My dog and doggy guests are allowed on the furniture, to sleep in my big queen sized bed with me and to make a home on my lap whenever they want! There are plenty of toys here to play with and an oversized huge doggy bed for all. Though I live in an apartment now, my unit is on the ground floor with direct street access to my lovely tree-lined neighborhood with lots of grassy areas which is a great place for walks! And there are numerous doggy parks nearby! I am comfortable giving dogs medication, have taken care of dogs who were epileptic/water diabetic, blind and/or deaf, or who were undergoing treatment for cancer or suffering with with other ailments and I will even take dogs in diapers as long as the diapers are provided. I will take dogs from different households provided they all get along which can be determined by their temperament and at our Meet 'N Greet. To me dogs are family and must be treated lovingly!
