Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Erica and I love hanging with pups! Taking care of dogs is my passion and I am currently enrolled to become a registered vet technician. I am certified in CPR/ first aid for dogs and cats. I live in the downtown Brighton area but I am able to travel to your home if needed! I currently work part time at an animal hospital and in my free time I like to take my pups hiking or to the park. I have worked at a dog training/ boarding facility for about 4 years before making the transition to the medical field. I have fostered dogs and volunteered with local animal shelters for about 8 years now. I usually have at least one or two foster puppies in and out of the house, and we would love to hang out with your pup while you are busy at work, or away on vacation, or just to burn off some energy! My dogs love to play and come with me where ever I go. But if your pup would prefer to have some one on one attention that’s cool too 😎. I am able to give meals and medication if needed. Erica was absolutely great with our large mixed breed dog! We were a bit nervous as this was our first time using Rover and having a sitter stay with our pup overnight. Erica kept us updated with lots of pictures, videos, and texts on how it was going. We could tell our dog took to her right away and was comfortable in her presence. We really appreciated Erica's friendliness and knowledge on caring for dogs, and how she understood our dog's needs. It was really nice to come home to a much less stressed out dog than she would have been after boarding. We will definitely book with Erica again in the future!
Erica was such a wonderful dogsitter for our pup, Bin. She was very easy to communicate with for booking and coordinating the sit. I really loved how she asked us what the right level of updates were for us and gave photo updates throughout the week. Our pup had some separation anxiety which resulted in tummy issues. Erica was great in talking to us about how we wanted to handle it and went out of her way to make him chicken/rice when he was refusing other food. We could tell that Bin was in great hands and Erica was so sweet and patient with him. We definitely recommend Erica!
Erica has been fantastic! She was communicative, professional and compassionate, taking the time to understand my pup and his needs, leaving me reassured he was in great hands. Erica came to meet us close to my home and was patient in allowing my dog to adapt. My dog is anxious and can have a hard time adjusting — I felt very comfortable leaving him with Erica and her experience with dogs was evident. I look forward to using her again very soon and would recommend her strongly!
Erica is the best dog sitter you could find! She’s watched my pup over a dozen times and is always the first person I call when I need someone to watch him. She keeps my pup exercised and entertainment by taking him hiking or to farmers markets. Erica has always been very flexible and able to watch my dog even on short notice. She has great experience as someone who’s worked at a dog daycare as well as vet tech experience. You can definitely trust your dog with Erica and know he/she will have a great time!
