Pet care experience
I live an active lifestyle and love having pups accompany me on my walks/hikes. Knowledgeable when it comes to pets' behaviors and understand the importance of routines and consistency. I LOVE seeing happy pups! It's so rewarding to seeing the happiness on a dog's face when they really get to explore the world around them. I live in a house with a small backyard, a 3-year old Dachshund, and a 19-year-old cat (I’ve had her since she was 2 weeks old!). I find much joy in working on commands with dogs. Patience (and reward) is key! I've had successful training experiences with Weimaraners, Great Danes, Pit Bulls, and Dachshunds. I understand and study canine body language. I am aware when dogs are uncomfortable with or intimidated by other animals, people, etc., when to work on encouragement or when to walk away. I have experience with high energy/active dogs, timid dogs, puppies, and seniors! I enjoy sharing my time with pups of all sizes, ages, and breeds!

Erica is the best! She always messages me before and after walking my dog and teaches out if she has questions. She also takes pictures and shares them which I love! Will definitely continue to use her :)

When hosting pets in my home, I prefer to have an introduction between my dog and yours prior to boarding. I have a small fenced in backyard for the pups to play. My cat doesn’t mind the company of other dogs, but prefers to keep to herself. In my clients’ home, I follow their house rules and try to keep things as consistent as possible for the pets. After the typical walking/feeding/etc, I do like to lounge in the living area with the pet and give them some attention and cuddles if they like!

- Certain commands/rules the owner has taught their pup. For example- did you teach them commands in a different language? Are they allowed on the couch? Etc - What type of behavior I should expect when socializing your dog with other animals? For example, how your dog typically acts around other dogs, in groups, and with cats. - Is your dog up to date on all vaccines and flea preventatives? - Does he/she have a history of being aggressive? Food or toy aggressive? - Do they have any special needs, dietary restrictions, or allergies? Afraid of anything?
A typical day
My go-to spot used to be Tanyard Creek Park, right off the Westside Beltline, but since recently moving to the suburbs, I’m getting familiar with spots like Woofstock Dog Park and Noonday Creek Trail.

While I do currently have open availability, my preferred hours are between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. However, I am flexible and happy to accommodate your schedule. :)
