Aloha! My name is Erica. I grew up in Michigan, then moved to Telluride, Colorado; then after traveling for a few years I fell in love with kiteboarding and that brought me to Maui in 2020. I've worked in so many different industries, from service, to childcare, to design, to fitness, to EMS (the list goes on.) But throughout it all, I'm always happiest when I'm working with animals. I love being able to help people while having the best company you could ever ask for (animals.) I've been working through Rover for over 5 years now and I've found that communication is key to a successful dog-sitting experience. I send regular (maybe too many :)) updates, photos, and videos, so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Above all, I genuinely love spending time with animals, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to care for your four-legged family members. They give us so much love and it's such a treat to be able to give back to them. I recently used Erica to petsit and stay overnight in my home while I traveled for 12 days, and she was wonderful. I have two beloved elderly pets, both with special needs – a cat that requires eyedrops three times daily and a small dog with severe allergies and pancreatitis who is prone to tummy issues. Both are love bugs who just want cuddles and lap time, but they do need a petsitter who is paying attention to any new issues that might arise with a senior animal. Erica spent time with me before I left, listening attentively to all my instructions and asking excellent questions. While I was gone, she kept me informed and sent me daily photos of “the kids.” It was clear they bonded with her right away, sleeping with her and nestling in her lap. I felt very confident leaving my little ones with Erica and trusting her in my home. When I returned, the pets were healthy and happy, and the house was neat and clean. It's an A+ for Erica!
Erica took great care of everything while I was away and went above and beyond my expectations. She will be my go-to cat/home sitter for as long as she stays on Maui!
Could not have found a better dog sitter than Erica to take care of my two challenging fur children, one that is 16 with vision, hearing, and physical impairments due to age and the other a 3 year old with some anxiety and reactivity. She gave each of them the individual attention and care they needed to thrive and enjoy their staycation as much as I enjoyed my vacation.

If your dog isn't trained to be off leash I've worked with so many dogs to be able to get them there! I think it's important that they have time to run and sniff freely when they are in a space that is safe to do so.
A typical day
Trails are my favorite for most dogs and the up country trails like Makawao forest and Olinda are fantastic spots for dogs to play outside especially because they are usually cooler and shaded.

Rover is currently my only job so I have total flexibility for your needs. I spend most of my free time in the dance studio and on the water and I can work around my clients schedules.
