Hi! ABOUT ME: My name is Erica, I work for a startup in the Silicon Valley and I work from my house in Oakland (or really anywhere I want to be that day). I've had my own dogs growing up - lab, golden retriever, and shih tszu and now have over 3 years of dog sitting, walking, and boarding experience. I have experience with large and small breeds as well as dogs with special needs. My roommate has a dog with spinal degenerative disease and she needs to wear a diaper. LOCATION: My place is about a 15 minute walk to Lake Merritt and I have a small backyard for fresh air and sunbathing. AVAILABILITY - Because I work remotely, I have pretty open availability for sitting and boarding. See calendar for specific openings. Your dogs will never be lonely or short on love when they are with me! In fact, I apologize if they are a bit depressed when you get them back ;) I hope you choose me to care for your furry family members!!! Erica

Erica took great care of my girl, Ohana. It was her first time with Erica so I appreciate Erica's patience and concern with her anxiety level. She was exhausted when we picked her up so it was a good sign that she was very active during her stay which also helps with her anxiety. Erica let me know that she slipped away during one of their first outings and it was quite scary but reassured me that she had taken measures to prevent it from happening again. I appreciate her honesty in letting me know it happened. She also sent great pics throughout the stay which was also comforting. I would definitely use Erica again.

Erica was so amazing with Bailie. I can Literally say he had the time of his life! She was very good about updating me and sending me pictures of his stay and she even picked him up and dropped him off at my house. Would defeiantly use her again and recommend her to my friends and family. Thanks Erica!!!
Erica was great at dogsitting Tapioca. She understood all my fears about leaving my recently adopted dog a stranger and made sure I felt comfortable and was always aware of how Tapioca was doing. She sent me updates and pictures throughout the day and was very responsive. I left Tapioca at a big dog daycare a couple of times and every time I picked her up she got crazy, jumping all over me, barking etc. With Erica, when I picked her up, she was happy but way calmer. I think that is a good sign that she enjoyed her stay with Erica. :)

A typical day

I have a small backyard where I like to work and get some sun and fresh air - theres french doors that open to the living room so your dog would have open space to roam in and out of the house.
