My wife, Yiyi, and I are happy owners of a Sheltie Shepherd mix named Pops, and would like to offer our home for boarding and day care. Your dog will receive plenty of human company and frequent walks in a safe environment. Dogs can have the full run of 1st floor and basement. They can co-habitate with Pops or stay in a private area. Yiyi works from home and will do walks in the daytime while I take care of morning and evenings. We are both available for communication. We are able to watch puppies greater than 3 months old as well. We will start them in the basement and gradually socialize them with Pops. This is great for puppies, Pops's puppy biting was cured after a few nights in day care. While dogsitting, one will be home with your dog at all times. Your dog will get walks every few hours and meals and medications on schedule. They will also have plenty of space for alone time when they want to relax. The basement is puppy proofed with no wires or loose articles to get in trouble with. Dogs who are well house trained will have the full run of the 1st floor as well. If needed, emergencies will be taken to Fox Animal Hospital during business hours or a 24hour Blue Pearl Skokie facility.
