I have over 30 years of experience owning and caring for dogs and will treat your dog as if it were a member of my own family. Your fur-buddy will stay in a fab-50's house, conveniently located in central Palm Springs minutes from the Palm Springs airport with a large yard, and central air-conditioning and heating. The house is pet-friendly with access to numerous pet beds, toys and a pet door so they can come and go as they please. Where else can dogs lounge on vintage, Danish modern furnishings? The large outdoor space includes numerous trees and shaded areas to protect from hot desert days. A dedicated plot of lawn is a special feature for dogs to play, and for the persnickety pet who will only potty on grass. A dedicated pet-den inside the house includes lots of areas for lounging and sleep in a comfort controlled environment. Pet gates add extra safety and security. A shimmering, kidney-bean pool is also available for the canine water-lover. However, the pool area is 100% fenced off for safety, so only supervised pool play is permitted. No dog will be allowed in the pool area without prior owner approval. I tailor my service to the needs of the dogs. A typical day may start with a visit to our local dog park. Less social dogs will receive dedicated walks. As a longtime dog handler with the Palm Springs Animal shelter, I have an innate ability to bond with every canine-companion and help over-come fear of a new environment. You will have peace of mind knowing your pet family member will receive individual love and attention throughout their stay. I am available 24/7 to answer any questions, or allay any concerns you may have about your pet's stay. For those who are interested in mobile dog care service for housebound pet owners who need extra assistance in feeding, walking and caring for their pets. I am an experienced caregiver for patients with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia and can ensure the safety and care for pets still under their care in their own homes. Doggie day care is also welcomed and I can provide pick-up and drop-off for an nominal fee. For the protection of other dogs and my own, I do request dogs are updated on vaccinations, and prefer to schedule a meet and greet prior to a stay to insure that everyone will get along. Two dog-friendly cats are part of the household, so I want to make sure dogs are comfortable with feline-friends.
