I know what it’s like to be away from your pet. You want to know how they are doing or if anything is wrong and will be sure to relate anything cute or concerning. I treat each dog as a special gift to get to know. I try to build trust with the dog while also establishing authority rewarded with treats, belly rubs or special ear scratchings. I will check for accidents, any wounds, food and water levels and replenish and give medicine directed by the owner. I will take the dog out to their designated area for the bathroom break and a short exercising walk or playtime to engage them mentally. I always use leashes if the dog is to be taken outside as is local law.
