I Love My Silver Lab Pups!
Pet care experience
My name is Eric and I’m a full-time animal lover. I’ve been caring for my Silver Lab, Athena, for 2.5 years and my Silver Lab puppy, Maple, for a little under a year and have plenty of experience giving them the care and affection every animal deserves. They are very playful and friendly and would love to have another furry, friendly companion to play with. I live in a home in Stamford with a large, unfenced back yard so your pup will have lots of space to roam, play, and go potty when they need to. I also work from home full-time and live very close to parks (for both humans and dogs) so a fun walk or playtime isn’t far away. I’m also a fairly active person and like to play with my dogs throughout the day and would love for your furry friend to join us! I understand that each pet and pet owner has their own personality and I will be sensitive to any situations with allergies or special care a pet might need. I will also be more than happy to send you pictures or videos or your pets enjoying themselves while they’re with me!

Arlo had the best time staying at Eric’s house. I dropped her off and she was greeted by their two cute Silver Labs. For the next 24 hours Arlo played, and played and played. Lots of pictures and videos from Eric. Easy booking, great communication, highly recommend!
Eric is the best dog dad! He provides his puppy, Athena, so much love and attention every day. He takes her for walks throughout the day and provides her lots of fun play times in the backyard. His puppy’s sweet demeanor is a reflection of his gentle and loving approach with her. When she has needed medications in the past he has been very responsible at making sure she always had what she needed to stay healthy! He watched my cats for three weeks when I was out of the country and I know they got a ton of love while I was away. I would trust him to care and love any pet!

I make sure they’re fed on time and in the right amounts and have plenty of water to drink each day. I also check their fur to make sure they don’t have any serious scratches or injuries. I love my dogs and want to make sure I give them a great home to live in. Play time is also important so I make sure that my pets get the play time they need so they can bond with me, each other, and get a well deserved nap afterwards!

I like to know a dogs temperament, how well they play with other dogs, how well they interact with cats, are there certain types of people/animals they don’t really like, is the dog crate trained, and do they have separation anxiety?
A typical day
I love to throw a frisbee or ball with my dogs. They love to run after it and bring it back. Or run after it and then chase after each other. I also believe that mental stimulation for a dog is just as important as physical play so I like to spend at least 15 minutes a day teaching my dogs new things and rewarding them when they do great!

For me, pet care starts with pet wellness and I make sure all pets under my care are safe, happy, and healthy. When I give them belly rubs each day I also check their fur to make sure they don’t have any serious scratches, injuries, or critters on them. I also make sure to schedule any necessary vet appointments right away so they can get the medical attention they need. I love my dogs and want to make sure I give them a great home to live in.
