Pet care experience
After taking a road trip and discovering how difficult and expensive it can be for a pet sitter, I decided to sign up as a Rover sitter. Being someone whose family, (and especially our own little teacup chihuahua) loves dogs anyway, I'm also happy to be able to provide this service at a reasonable price, so people can bring their pet along without spending a fortune, while at the same time we enjoy the company. I've grown up with cats and all types of dogs all my life, from Chihuahuas (our current dog), to Newfoundlands. We live in a house that backs up to open trails on Coconino National Forest and live in a quiet gated pet friendly community. We also have a covered patio for shade in the backyard, though we generally keep the dogs inside, except for breaks and walks. Our family Chihuahua is great with other dogs. Just as with our dog, any dog staying with us would be getting walks, either on the trail or in the neighborhood. We also have an exceptional dog park in the area where we often take our dog, and other dogs on occasion with your pernission. We strive to make your dog feel like he/she is on vacation too! Cats are also welcome! Our dog and cat are social. We are only about 15 -20 minutes from Sedona.

Eric helped me get my puppy cage from the car. He sent me photos of my 8 week puppy and texts of how he was doing. I was happy to see in the photos that Eric’s son was also playing with my puppy. He has two small dogs, so I was happy that mine was getting some socialization. I had initially canceled my first appointment with Eric because a friend wanted to care for him for a day. Eric was very kind about that cancellation and would not accept payment for me canceling on such short notice (<24 hours). Eric also had everything packed up at the end of the day and took it to my car. A big thanks to you Eric!
Eddie had a great time. I will use Eric again when I travel. He took really great care of Eddie and kept me updated on a daily basis. What a wonderful find.
Eric did a fantastic job with my cats. His care for them was above and beyond what I'd expected. I did not expect him to offer play time or really any time beyond feeding and cleaning, but he did. I will most certainly ask for his service again. I highly recommend him for anyone!
Eric was great with both our dogs! The home is inviting and safe. He sent us lots of photos and updates, even though it was only for a few hours. We heartily recommend Eric!
