We have loved animals our whole lives. We have enjoyed taking care of friends' and co-workers' dogs for years but then discovered Rover in January of 2015. We've had so many fun dogs stay with us...over 200 clients! From puppies to 15+ year old dogs that need medicine and special care. My wife Candace and I genuinely take pleasure in getting to know your dog and watching them play together. We lost our dog Buddy a couple summers ago. We loved that our sitting business provided fun social interaction for him after his best friend passed. Now we aren't ready to commit to a new dog but we would love to come give your pets our full attention. You can feel safe and secure knowing we treat your dog just like family. Eric & Candace were wonderful! They spent lots of time with our animals - which is extra special because a lot of people only stay at your house for sleeping. Instead our pets got lots of quality time during the day too. They were communicative, sent lots of pictures, and made sure to walk our dog twice a day. They even stayed until we got home so our animals wouldn't be alone at all. Our animals were clearly very comfortable with them. We would definitely recommend them and use them again! Candace and Eric were great. Real pros. They are dog lovers and we could tell right away they would have fun with them. They were great at communicating and sending pics along the way. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely love black Labs! Buddy wasn't our first and definitely won't be our last. They are sweet, loyal, laid back dogs that everyone can get along with. We are also very familiar and love Rhodesian Ridgebacks. So if you're nervous leaving your high-maintenance Ridgie, no worries! We also specialize in Vizslas, Yorkies and Dachshunds.
A typical day
We love to take walks in your neighborhood or parks. Occasionally, we do take dogs on hikes but this is discussed during meet and greets.

Eric & Candace can watch in your home
Availability
Eric works a short work week and Candace works from remotely. We prefer to stay in your home but if you'd rather or can't accommodate this, we can set up in your driveway. We have a Roadtrek Popular 210 that is completely self-contained and the size of a regular van. We don't need to plug in for water or electricity. Just need a flat parking space so we can be on-site.
