My wife Susie & I are originally from Missouri, and we're high school sweethearts. We have three amazing children. We're each 38 years old, and have lived on Kauai since 2014 (minus 3 years in Alaska 2020-2023). We are passionate in every way about dogs. Both growing up with dogs, and having owned dogs during the past 20 years (although we don't currently have any of our own). We owned & operated a wildly successful in-home dog boarding business in Homer, Alaska for 3 years where we averaged 6 dogs per day, and had up to 30 dogs staying with us on holidays. Besides boarding experience, we have experience with breeding, training, volunteer vet work, holistic healthcare, and have also served as dog handlers for an Iditarod team in Alaska. We're experienced home owners ourselves, and also estate caretakers (and farm caretakers of both plants/trees, & livestock). Between Susie & I, we have experience with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, landscaping (weeding, planting, gardening, mowing/weed whacking), tree pruning & removal (I am also a climbing arborist), house (and rental) cleaning with all natural cleaning products, business & personnel management, & childcare. We are also educators/advocates for women/families who are seeking to have a natural/sovereign unassisted birth outside the industrial medical system.
