Pet care experience
I am a former Veterinarian Technician who worked in day practice and emergency animal hospitals, starting after High school in 1997 through 2003; during those years I also cared for many clients pets in their homes...some needing medications, insulin injections, etc. I also have managed a Doggie Daycare and Boarding Facility, worked as a ranch hand, and am a certified dog trainer. I enjoy training dogs (positive reinforcement only!) and understand how important it is to keep the training consistent when the clients are away, especially with puppies!

I am writing a testimonial for Eric; someone who I completely put my trust in, to care for my two elderly yorkies. From the first time he dog-sat, my doggies loved him! He always has their best interest at heart and when I come home, they are relaxed, not stressed, and at ease. Being elderly dogs, they require someone who isn't afraid to sit and cuddle with them, talk to them, hold them and love on them, and Eric is that person! Not only that, when I come home from being away, the house is always nice and clean and perfectly orderly. I would recommend Eric A. to anyone, although I would rather keep him for myself! :)
Eric used to be a vet tech and enjoys animals a great deal. I recently adopted a dog from the Denver Dumb Friend's League and Eric has helped me with training the new dog. He is very knowledgable when it comes to animals and how and why they act the way they act. It has shown through with our new dog as she has started to come along much quicker since Eric has helped train me to train her! Eric has 2 dogs of his own and they are very dear to him. They are part of his family and he takes their care seriously. If I ever needed to go out of town and leave my dogs in the care of someone else, Eric would DEFINITELY be my first choice to ask. I would highly recommend Eric to anybody that needed to leave their dog in someone else's care!

I am well versed in taking care of pets and very much understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet with stranger. I know what dogs (and cats) are capable of and how sneaky and quick they can be, so, I am in a vigilant state when caring for someone's pet. Is your pet an escape artist, or you are just worried that they may get out if given the opportunity? Don't worry, your pets safety and the security of your home/yard, come second nature to me, I am a stickler when it comes to gates and doors being secure, especially when your pets safety is involved.

Allergies, fears, hiding spots, any sort of aggression (food, other dogs, etc...) medications. Favorite treats, feeding schedule, veterinarian, contact phone numbers. Likes/dislikes, allowed on furniture or not, any training they are working on or need a refresher on.

I will do whatever is requested by the owner, and keeps the pup feeling happy, sticks to their routine and also keeps them safe! :)
