Hello! 👋☺️ my name is Eoin Thomas (pronounced like "owen"), and I have been a dog and pet sitter for 17 years. I also have experience working for animal rescue organizations, which has given me invaluable knowledge and skills in caring for pets of all kinds and working through different personalities and breeds. As a sitter, my primary focus is ensuring your pets are happy, comfortable, and well-cared for while you're away. Whether it's taking them for daily walks, providing them playtime and exercise, or simply giving them all love and attention they deserve! I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident in their sitter's abilities, which is why I'll keep you updated with regular photos and updates throughout their entire stay. In fact, I used to do marketing for the animal rescues I worked for, so honestly get ready to have some glamor shots sent to you! lol Truly, the best thing I hear from my clients when they pick up their pets is that they were able to relax on their trip knowing that their pets were in such good hands. Also, please know that unfortunately if your dog is showing any signs of sickness 48 hours before their stay you will need to cancel. 🙏✨

🏡 About my Home: My home is a safe and welcoming environment for all pets, and I take pride in providing a comfortable and secure space for them. I have a small 2-year-old dog named Phillip who loves meeting new animal friends and has a gentle and friendly disposition. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and flea/tick preventatives. To ensure every animal's safety in my complex, it is important that all pet owners disclose any medical issues or health concerns prior to their visit. In my two-bedroom apartment, there's plenty of space to separate animals if needed, to ensuring their safety and comfort. I understand that some pets may need their own space or quiet time, and I'm happy to provide that as needed. Additionally, I have cameras installed in each room to allow me to keep an eye on the pets at all times. My apartment complex has a fenced-in dog park, which is a great spot for pets to exercise, play, and socialize with other dogs. I'll be happy to take your pets to the park for some outdoor fun and games, and I'll make sure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air during their stay. There's a good group of dogs that play everyday there, and am happy to work on socialization or training if its something you'd like to discuss. I have a variety of blankets, beds, and toys available for your pets to use during their stay, so they'll have everything they need to feel right at home. I also take care to maintain a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring that all pet areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized. Personally, I love having dogs sleep in bed with me, but I also have plenty of space in my bedroom for lots of dogs to sleep on the floor if they prefer. So, whether your pet is a cuddler or a solo sleeper, they'll have plenty of options for comfortable sleeping arrangements. Overall, I strive to provide a safe and comfortable home-away-from-home for all pets. With Phillip's friendly and playful nature, plenty of space to relax and play, and no annoying roommate or neighbors, your pets will feel right at home.

If it feels better to have an in-person meeting before your first stay with me, that can of course be arranged. I'll make sure that I know everything I need to know about your pet that makes their stay with me as seamless as possible. :)
A typical day
A typical day in my home is starts early by taking my own dog, Phillip, for a walk around my apartment complex. After returning home, I prepare breakfast for my self and the dogs before I settle in to work in my home office. Phillip likes to burrow under blankets on his bed next to my desk and keep me company while I work. Clearly, a very helpful assistant. ;) Throughout the day, I take much-needed breaks to step outside for some fresh air with the dogs. Whether it's a quick walk around the building or a longer stroll to the nearby park, I make sure all the dogs staying with me get plenty of time outside to play, explore, and burn off some energy. I generally wrap up with my classes around 3PM, where we head to the apartment complex's fenced-in dog park for some group playtime. There's a lovely group of the neighbor's dogs that meet there every night before sundown, and it's always a great opportunity for dogs to socialize, exercise, and have some fun. At the end of the day, we'll all curl up on the couch and watch some Netflix together before crawling in to bed. I'm also the type of dog parent that actually brushes Phillip's teeth before bed every night too. :P

🗓️ My Schedule: Caring for your dog is my full time job! I am currently attending college online from the comfort of my apartment, and your dogs help me pay for my tuition! :) I'm only in zoom classes for about half the day, meaning I have the unique advantage of being fully available to your pets throughout the day. I understand that pets thrive on routine and love having their human around, which is why I'll be able to provide consistent care and attention to your pets. My flexible schedule also means that I can accommodate your pets' needs, whether that's an early morning walk, a midday play session at the dog park, or a late-night cuddle. Before your dog comes over for the first time, we'll meet for a quick virtual consultation to help me learn about your pets, and create a personalized care plan that meets your pets' unique needs, routines, and quirks. In addition, being home allows me to provide extra supervision and security for your pets. I'll be able to keep a close eye on your pets at all times, ensuring their safety and comfort.
