"Whoever said diamonds were a girls best friend, never owned a dog." I'm a first grade teacher, with the summer off... I'm hoping to fill it up with lots of dog dates. I LOVE dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. We own a sweet three year old Golden Retriever, named Birdie who makes fast friends with everyone. She is playful, and silly but can also be shy at first. My husband and I live in a house in St. Louis park. We have a fenced in backyard for puppies to run and play. I am also happy to come to you and walk or run your furry friend also. Birdie can come with me on walks or she can stay at home if you prefer. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

We had our pup, Yeti, spend a few days a week this summer with Emmy and her dog Birdie. We cannot say enough wonderful things! Emmy gave Yeti so much love and attention, and Birdie tolerated his youthful energy like a champ. Emmy regularly sent pictures and videos of the fun they were having, and Yeti always came home exhausted! Now that Emmy is back to her teacher schedule, we have brought Yeti there for weekend boarding, knowing that he is in great hands.
We love Emmy!! Royce now recognizes Emmy’s house when we drive up, and is always SO excited to have a fun day with her and birdie :) We know Royce is in good hands here - highly recommend!!
Rizzo loved playing with Birdie and Emmy all day. Emmy sent us pictures and updates throughout the day and we felt so comfortable leaving Rizzo her.
Emmy is simply wonderful! It was our first time ever hiring a dog walker/sitter, and we were feeling nervous about having someone we didn't know caring for Eva & Riker. After expressing my concern to Emmy, she was more than happy to do a quick meet-and-greet with us and the pups a couple days before the drop-in visit. Eva & Riker warmed up to her quickly and it was clear we were going to be in good hands. On the day of the drop-in, Emmy kept in touch with updates and pictures and she was incredibly reassuring that everything was going well. Eva & Riker had a great time with Emmy and they were still excited about their visit when we came home to them later. We truly appreciated having Emmy do our first drop-in visit. Not only is she friendly and kind, but she is also capable of handling our husky pack!

Before dog sitting I would love to know your dog's routine and personality. Every dog is so unique, the better we know each other the more fun we will have! What time does he/she eat? Can he/she have treats? Does he/she have allergies? How does he/she get along with other dogs? I love all breeds of dog, I will accept them all with open arms!! :)
A typical day
I am a first grade teacher and I have the summer off. I will be working on homework for graduate school from home which means lots of puppy time! I love to go on walks and runs with pups. Our favorite places to walk are around our neighborhood in St. Louis Park, or the nearby lakes. Birdie likes to play catch at the dog park by our house, if that is something your dog would like that is a fun option. We can also stay home and play in the backyard if you are more comfortable with that!
