A pet lover!
Pet care experience
Hello there! I absolutely love dogs! I have been dog sitting through Rover since 2015. I'm a very seasoned dog and pet sitter. I can handle any special needs your furry friend may have!. I am responsible, organized and clean. I'm very gentle with dogs and I would definitely want to learn your own commands when watching your pet. I have a set of questions that I can send you before a meet and greet that we can go over during the meet and greet. These questions include things like favorite toys, friendliness with other animals or people, feeding habits, etc. I like to be prepared and know every dogs' unique personality! I’m currently working remotely. I have a very flexible schedule.
Reviews
Emmy was great with our two dogs! She sent lots of photos while we were gone and kept us updated on what was happening at home. She left the house clean and organized too which was much appreciated!
Emmy was wonderful! She took great care of my cat while I was out of town. I had someone else drop out at the last minute so we weren't able to do a meet-and-greet, but I had no concerns at all due to her great communication and responsiveness. Would definitely recommend + will happily use again. Thanks Emmy!
Emmy did a wonderful job taking care of our pup and our home! She is 100% reliable and very attentive. She asked us for our dog’s routine and followed his schedule so that he wouldn’t be disrupted. She updated us with daily pictures and even his walking route! Our dog doesn’t eat well when we are away, and she did a great job of encouraging him to eat. When we returned our home was immaculate and she had gone above and beyond watering my many plants. Emmy is a delightful person and a real pro!
Emmy was great! We felt totally safe leaving our puppy with her. She was communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I prefer to take my cues from the dog owner. When a dog is home alone, I believe the safest option is to crate them. It really depends on the dog and the environment!

Information Emmy B. would like to know about your pet
I have a set of questions I usually ask during every first meet and greet. They include going over the pets daily routine, where they sleep, possible food aggression or leash aggression, favorite toys, etc.
A typical day
My dog sitting style would depend on the dog and what the owner is comfortable with. I lead an active lifestyle, so if a dog needs exercising, I can definitely do that! I love visiting local parks and taking long walks. Or if the dog just needs some gentle petting, company and cuddles, I can do that too! I would request to learn the dog owner's commands. I believe consistency is key when dog training! My general dog motto is ‘A good dog is a tired dog’. I firmly believe dogs can be equally worn out from mental exercises ( like learning new tricks or polishing old tricks) as they can be worn out from physical exercise. If you’d like me to work on certain commands and/or tricks, please let me know! I’d be more than happy to help reinforce good behavior.
