A perfect stay-cation for your dog!

Pet care experience

I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid! Through the years I’ve worked at a variety of pet care facilities. I worked in a doggy daycare and boarding facility for over 4 years. My responsibilities included watching large groups of dogs, feeding, administering medications, grooming, and basic training. I worked at multiple dog rescues and farms caring for the animals and making friends with each and every one of the fur babies I met! I’m a certified per caretaker through the Outstanding Pet Care Learning Center. I have A LOT of experience with dogs who suffer from multiple aggression issues. From minor aggression to extreme cases, I can handle it all! I rescued my personal pup and he has extreme leash aggression and human aggression. Over the years I did intense training with him and while, yes he still has a long way to go, he’s made immense progress! I also went through training with one of my family dogs and got him certified as a therapy dog! With a background rich in knowledge on animal behavior and training I can guarantee the highest quality of care for your 4-legged family member!

Emmy and I met in high school, where we learned how to preform dog CPR. throughout our shared classes we became great friends, and I got to learn about her deep passion for dogs and all animals alike. Her two four legged friends at her house are some of the most important things in her life. She provides excellent care with heart healthy food, walks galore, and unconditional love. Recently she’s been watching dogs that aren’t hers, and to no surprise she adores them just the same. Emmy is the most compassionate, intelligent, caring person I know.

Safety, trust & environment

In my personal home I am very cautious when taking my dogs out for walks or potty breaks because my family dogs and my personal dog do not get along. Safety is always my number one concern when caring for my dogs or for my clients dogs! I always stay alert to what’s going on around me to ensure a safe and happy environment for the animals! For the more wiggly and hyperactive four legged friends or for those who are of a larger bread, I like to accompany their leash and collar/ harness with a slip lead. This helps ensure that the pup does not slip out of their harness / collar and get away while we’re on our adventures! While watching your fur baby at your home I can assure you that all precautions will be made to make sure your pet is comfortable, happy, and safe!

Information Emmy B. would like to know about your pet

If your dog is on any medications, has allergies, or medical disabilities please let me know before hand! I am able to administer any medication!! Also, if your pup has any aggression habits (resource guarding, dog / leash aggression, bite history) please let me know. I’d never turn someone down if their pup struggles with any of these habits! The knowledge will just help me be more prepared to care for your furry friend

A typical day

I live a pretty active life and am a huge nature lover! When I watch your four legged family member(s) I love taking long walks / hikes through nature and exploring. If your pup is on the older side or has any medical issues that make it difficult to take long walks we can hangout out back and play with toys, find the best stick the world has ever seen, and relax in the shade.
