Pet care experience
Growing up, I had five lovely dogs whom I took care of, walked, and loved for years. My dogs were of all sizes, from miniature pinschers to German shepherds. We even raised multiple of my dogs' litters before finding the puppies homes. Additionally, I have worked for other dog-walking companies and pet sat for my friends. I've learned how to calm dogs in stressful situations, approach them with care, and tend to their needs. I love surrounding myself with animals, and cannot wait to get back into this work!

Emmily is very professional, attentive, friendly, and reliable. Our dogs loved her right away! She was always on time, paid close attention to detail, and has excellent communication skills. We felt comfortable and at ease leaving our dogs in her care.
Emmily is the best! She watched my dog for almost 2 weeks when I was out of town and sent me daily updates (including pictures/videos of my dog) assuring me that he’s doing well and having fun! In my home, I will assure the dogs are safe at all times. I live with individuals who are dog lovers, and a neighborhood perfectly suited for walking dogs. I will also provide dog toys if needed to keep the pups entertained! I am available at any time to tend to their needs, even if they need evening or early morning potty walks. My home and neighborhood are also quiet in case the dog is scared of loud environments or noises.

I will need to know if your dog is people friendly (especially because I live with others). It would also be helpful to learn your dog's triggers (e.g., other animals, loud noises, skateboards) to ensure they feel safe and comfortable at all times. Finally, knowing the dog's energy levels and general potty schedule would help me schedule their walk times!
A typical day
I love to play with dogs, so I will be sure to purchase dog toys for them. I also live around a small park, which will be a great place for the dogs to walk. Additionally, my neighborhood is very peaceful and green, so it is a perfect place for the pups to go on a stroll. My apartment building also has an open back area where I could sit outside with the dogs so they could enjoy some sunlight!

Availability
I am home most days of the week, especially in the mornings and afternoons, so I could walk or board dogs fairly frequently. I regularly spend time outdoors for exercise, so walking dogs fits into my schedule perfectly.
