Pet care experience
I grew up with a gentle giant of a yellow lab in a neighborhood full of pets. I’ve been trusted to walk, feed, medicate, brush, play with, and love on a variety of cats and dogs for my neighbors, friends, family, and church community since I was a teenager. I also shared a sassy, fat, senior cat with my college roommate for 2 years who needed regular baths, vet visits, and loved to go exploring in our yard on a leash. I am a child/teen creative arts therapist during the day with lots of patience and experience providing basic obedience training and mental stimulation and working with pets (and people) with anxiety, abuse histories and/or big personalities.

Emme did a wonderful job house and cat-sitting for me. My cats were happy as can be and the house was tidier than when I left! My cats are sitting and staring out the front door. I think they miss her and are wondering when she's coming back! Highly recommended!
Emme was excellent! Our two male cats took to her right away, even our shy one. Emme was great about sending daily updates with photos. We could tell our boys were well cared for as they seemed totally content when we returned home. It was a huge relief to know our kitties were in good hands while we were away.
Emme is great with my anxious dog Poppy! She also has special medical needs and Emme does super well managing both the physical and mental well being of our pup. Thanks to Emme, we were able to enjoy our wedding weekend without having to worry about Poppy at home. 🩵
Emme had sit our cat twice and we were very happy both times. We really appreciated her daily updates with photos, and would definitely book her again for future vacations.

Aggression/Reactivity/Anxiety History: I will not judge your dog or turn your request down solely based on a dog's history with aggression, reactivity, or separation anxiety! Honesty allows me to better prepare to meet and care for your dog in a calm, safe, and trust-developing manner.
A typical day
I enjoy going on walks in neighborhoods and on greenway trails, playing in large yards, and creating fun hide-and-seek games for indoor exercise when the weather isn't cooperating.

I have a very flexible schedule with several dedicated mornings a week to work-from-home and daily extended lunch breaks. I can provide extra love and company by working from your home during the day and stopping back in for mid-day walks, bathrooms breaks, and play sessions.
