Emma took care of out 3 dogs and cat and did a great job. She took our dogs out on a long hike, watered our plants, and kept the house clean (something we have trouble doing most of the time!). It was such a relief to come home to tired pups and a clean house after a long weekend. I would definitely recommend emma for housesitting and will use her in the future.
Emma was awesome!! This is the first time I used Rover.com and I live in an apt complex so I had to explain detailed instructions on how to get in the building and where to find a hidden key. Emma was extremely accommodating and sent the cutest pics of my baby pup while I was away. I will absolutely reach out to Emma again.
Emma makes sure that her dog always has enough exercise and love. She can spend hours at the dog park but is always up for a good snuggle. She is very familiar with all of the dog-friendly hikes around the valley and enjoys positive reinforcement training, which she has spent many hours on with her own dog. Most importantly, she is really good at picking up poop.
Park, hike, and running enthusiast
Hi! I'm Emma. I've been walking since I was 15 months old, so I have lots of experience with that. I grew up with dogs and have volunteered in shelters as well as pet nearly every dog that has ever walked by me. I'm the mom of a 16 month old black lab (the second dog I've had by myself), which means I'm well acquainted with all the local dog parks and dog-friendly hiking trails ...
What Emma would like to know about your dog
Before taking your dog on a walk, I would like to know their activity needs and temperament. I'm not opposed to walking dogs of any size, breed, or personality, but I do want to know beforehand so I can decide the best possible place to take them and prevent any altercations for dogs with triggers. There's no point in me coming if your dog isn't worn out after, which means I need to know just how much exercise they require to get in a curl-up-and-nap mood.
