I am an employee at ISU and live 5 minutes from work. I grew up with a family dog and I have since adopted my own dog, Maverick 10 years ago. Maverick has diabetes and gets insulin shots daily. I recently had to put down our other dog, Che who we adopted about 6 years ago. Che was blind so I have experience with special needs dogs. We love to play in the house, go on long walks or go to a dog park near us. I love to stay active and be outside whenever I can, taking walks or going on a run. When I'm not enjoying the outdoors, Maverick, Che, and I relax on the couch or play with some toys inside. Along with pet sitting for friends and family, I have previously professionally dog walked a few years ago while living in Chicago.
