Pet care experience
I grew up with a golden doodle that I was actively involved in training, walking, and taking care of other various needs. My family has had other dogs that we have taken care of over the years that I have always been involved with. I’m very outgoing & love getting to know new pups. I currently have a 13 year old pup named Pepper who is my whole world. I’m extremely responsible & caring especially with dogs because I know what it’s like to have one of my own. There is nothing I love more than spending time with dogs!

Dottie goes to Emma’s all day, 3 days a week and just loves it! She gets so excited as soon as we pull in the driveway! Emma is responsive, helpful, kind, gentle and great with my little dog!
Emma was the best! She sent so many pictures and videos. I could tell our Aussie, Lua, was in great hands! We will definitely be booking again!

I have a fenced in yard which makes it easy to keep an eye on the dogs. I also never leave the dogs alone outside. I will leash your dog when walking from my house to the backyard as they are not connected directly. When I dog sit at homes with no fence, I always make sure the dog is securely leashed before heading out the door. I am however, not comfortable taking dogs to the dog park. I am also very careful when it comes to giving treats & feeding dogs. I keep the dogs completely separate when it’s treat time and time to eat in order to avoid any food aggression. I have lots of experience caring for multiple dogs at once. I do usually only accept one client at a time (if you have two dogs that’s totally fine) besides the toy poodle that I doggy day care for.

My dog is very tolerable of other dogs and mostly just ignores them! I will only board dogs that know how to be respectful with my dog and not mess with her as she is old and small. Please also let me know if your dog is prone to jumping on counters, etc. So I can make sure I doggy proof the place appropriately for your pup. I will not accept dogs under 3-4 unless they are very calm because of my dog. I also watch a 2 year old toy poodle Monday-Wednesday during the day. She is very calm & mostly just sits next to me while I work. She is very respectable of other dogs space. However, if you aren’t comfortable with a third dog (in addition to my dog & yours), it is a flexible situation & she does not have to be here while I am watching your dog! Please let me know if your dog has any good aggressive behaviors or any other behavioral issues. I would like our dogs to meet first & do a shorter stay before committing to a longer stay in case there are any issues.
A typical day
I live right by the Hyde park trail and near downtown Oakley. I love taking my dog for a walk in these areas. I also frequently play with my dog inside & take her in the backyard to play as well.

Availability
I work full remote so your dog will have company all day! I take my dog outside multiple times a day to run around in the back yard and get fresh air. There’s plenty of great spots for walks too!
