⭐️ Fully Booked through March. Accepting new bookings for April. Hi, I'm Emma Jo, and I would love to meet you and your furry family! I currently part-time petsit and run a remote creative business, so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule. That means I can provide attentive care and love to your animal(s) while you're away. I enjoy building relationships people and animals around Seattle. Friends, acquaintances, and neighbors trust that their beloved animals and homes will be safe and well cared for. I have many repeat clients and am currently accepting new clients. I grew up with rescue dogs and lovingly cared for them in their old age and limited mobility. In recent years I fostered and re-homed a pit bull and chihuahua. I frequently walk and sit overnight for goofy frenchies, energetic doodles, grumpy dachshunds, elderly labs, gentle pit mixes, pandemic pups with separation anxiety, dogs with leash reactivity, cuddly cats, cockatiels, bunnies, and more! I do not discriminate based on breed or ability. I have experience with doggy first aid, irrigating and dressing wounds, treating hot spots, ear/eye infections, etc.

I will never let your dog off leash unless 1) you give consent 2) your pup and I have established trust and 3) your pup has strong recall. As a guest in your home, I take care of your pets and your belongings with great respect. I follow all protocol and directions set by you. I take time to genuinely acquaint myself with you and your pet - and I like to communicate openly with any questions or concerns that may arise. Happy to take out the garbage bins, water your plants, and even throw your sheets in the wash. Shoot me a message to schedule a meet and greet!

A typical day
Rain or shine we’ll get out for a good walk, or two, or three! We’ll have some cozy cuddle time and play with toys indoors. Depending on your dog's abilities we may play catch at Seward Park, sniff around the Arboretum, or dip our paws in the water at Golden Gardens. Really depends on where you live and your pet's energy needs. I typically don't go to dog parks, but will accommodate if it's part of your regular routine. I also love taking photos of animals so expect cute pics from me :D
