Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Currently I own a 4 year old rescue pit bull. I have experience working with, caring for, and training lots of large dogs especially bully breeds. During the school year I am a full time teacher, I don’t teach over the summer so I have lots of availability to care for your pet!

Emma and their dog, Jerry, were wonderful for our shepherdor's overnight stay! Emma sent us regular updates, photos and videos, so we knew just how our dog was doing--which was great! He had a great time playing, and we love that the yard is fenced, so he can roam and explore at his heart's content. When our dog came home, he sacked out on the couch and slept for hours - he definitely got his playtime in! We would rebook with Emma in a heartbeat.
Emma is a wonderful, loving, and responsible dog caregiver. She has watched my pets (dog and cat) on numerous occasions when I have traveled. My dog is always overjoyed to see her. He gets plenty of exercise and is well taken care of. I highly recommend Emma to care for your pet.

I care for all pets similar to my own. I believe in good routines with regular meal times, a minimum of 2 walks a day, plus play time in our fenced in yard. Pets in my home have their own designated room while I am out of the house.

Please let me know about your dog’s size, temperament, and any dietary/medication needs they have so that I can best care for them! I’d love to meet your dog with you first so as to ensure the best possible experience for them as well as to make sure they do well with my dog (Jerry). Please note, I’m happy to care for low energy dogs, but Jerry tends to do better with dogs who are moderate/high energy.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks through the local urban farm and park, as well as on adventure to the woods nearby. If a dog is able to, I also enjoy taking them to the local dog park.

Availability
I am a full time middle school and high school science teacher, and have summers off. During the summer I am available most days and work from home. I live with my partner who works about ~5 min from our home. During the school year he lets our dog out mid-day before I return home around 4:30pm
