Now is not the time for me to get a dog of my own, so I want to help everyone I can to take care of their pets as needed. I love ALL breeds, be them gentle giants or ankle biters. Throughout my childhood I have taken care of several energetic labradors that had me telling the owners to take more vacations. At home, my family owned a golden retriever and I ended up becomign her primary care-giver until she sadly passed away in December of 2017 from old age. In the past 5 months, I have gone through U.S. Army Military Police training , so your home and beloved family pets will be left in good hands. In the fall, I am looking to pursue a degree in fishery and wildlife biology, therefore, I am more than happy to care for less common family pets, for example: chickens, ferrets, horses, goats, sugar gliders - you name it! I am also not queasy or hesitant when it comes to snakes; my father, big brother, and I used to catch rattlesnakes! I look forward to meeting myriad new members of my community, both two-legged and four.
