I have grown up around dogs, and they have become a constant in my life. Recently, I had moved up to Bellingham from San Diego and am not able to rescue a dog for myself, yet. In the meantime, I am here on Rover ready to play with your dog and work for you! I have a lot of experience with dogs, and I am extremely confident in my abilities to work (specifically) with anxious ones as well. In my family, we have rescued and fostered plenty of dogs, and I have spent a lot of time volunteering at my local animal shelter. I am happy to work with older dogs, puppies in need of training and structure, or anxious dogs who need someone that understands their quirks. I am ready for it all! Working with your dog(s) fills a gap in my life that I am currently missing, so that makes this job extremely fulfilling. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! I am currently in school full time and have other dogs that I take care of, but surprisingly that doesn’t take up a majority of my time. I still have a lot of free time during my week (and especially on the weekends). If you reach out ahead of time, I will definitely be willing to work around your schedule. Although I live in an apartment, I am more than happy to take care of your animal in my home for as long as you need. I do not live with any other animals or children, it is just me and my partner. I have a fenced-in patio and great walking trails all around that I would be happy to take your dog(s) around multiple times daily. I try to get outside as often as I can, whether that be long walks or hikes. With my schedule currently, I am able to get your dog out every 2 hours or so if they are staying for longer than a day or two. With ample notice, I can make sure to be around for your dog as often as they may need. Since I do have other commitments, it is much easier for your animal to stay with me rather than I stay at your residence. I have a lot of patience for whatever your animal may need, and am willing to work around them to make their (and your) experience as comfortable as possible. I always provide photos and updates as often as I can.
