Pet care experience
I was a certified Pet Partners Therapy team with my parents' Australian Shepherd, Rufus, while in highschool in 2014 and a couple years after. We passed the highest level of certification after completing basic training and therapy visits. Since then, I have dog-sat for my parents' dogs Rufus and an elderly Maltese mix named Cricket, both of whom require special diets and exercise requirements. I also care for my own pet, a small, caged songbird named Zuko, who I've had for two and a half years.

Emma was so helpful and friendly to my pup! Would definitely book her again when I need another walker!
When Emma agreed to take care of Gemma, we had not yet left our sweet, relatively newly adopted Pandemic Pup with anyone, as someone was always home this past year. It was with some apprehension that we dropped her off for a several day stay. However, from the first meet and greet, we felt immediately comfortable with Emma being the substitute dog mom. She understands and empathizes with animals, and has a lot of experience with dogs. Gemma warmed up so fast--to Emma, Emma's partner, and their beautiful bird. I enjoyed getting photos of Gemma as she easily acclimated to their cozy environment. Emma is very active, and I appreciated her getting Gemma out in fresh air walking regularly. All in all, it was a great experience and I am about to re-book for another stay.
Emma bonded immediately with Gemma when I took Gemma for her Meet and Greet. This was followed by a trial sleepover where Emma proved to be kind, fun, and organized. She was well attentive to Gemma’s needs. She is clearly an animal lover. Looking forward to leaving Gemma for a longer stay starting tomorrow. Highly recommended.
Emma was wonderful. My dog was very happy with her. He’s a chow chow, which can be difficult but she handled him with love and care. She kept giving me regular updates about what my dog was doing. My dog did get anxious late in the night because it was his first time away from me but Emma tried her best. And when she couldn’t help him calm down, she was honest enough to call me and ask for help. She even offered to refund my money but I said No since she took such good care of my dog Blu the whole. I definitely recommend Emma for dogsitting!!!
