Pet care experience
I have been dogsitting/petsitting for friends and family since I was in high school. I have also been the proud owner of a rescue cat named Beans for nearly 3 years, who, because of her background, requires some special care and lots of love. I understand that each pet has a unique personality, and I can adapt my approach to make sure your pet has the best care possible.
Reviews
Emma was great! She gave me daily updates and photos and followed all of the directions I left. Would recommend!!
Emma is always super attentive and gives great updates while I’m away!
Emma did a great job looking after our cat Merlin for a few days. Setting up the booking was really easy - helped by her efficient and responsive approach. The apartment was spotless when we returned and Merlin was relaxed, happy and well-cared for.
Emma is a great pet sitter. She is very communicative and responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Our cat Finn loves her, too! He was happy as a clam when we got home from our trip. So nice to have found a wonderful catsitter!

I believe the best approach is to follow detailed instructions from the pet's owner. In addition to routine questions such as feeding schedule, walking schedule, etc., I like to ask the following questions: - For dog owners, are you comfortable with people approaching/petting your dog on we're on walks, or would you prefer that I request they don't? - Are there any pre-exisiting health concerns that I should be keeping an eye on? - Is there a specific walking route that your dog is most comfortable with? - Are there any training behaviors you've been working on with your pet that you'd like me to reinforce?
Information Emma R. would like to know about your pet
I want to make sure your pet has a comfortable and safe experience, and that being with me isn't too big of a disruption to their daily routine! Because of this, I'd like to know if there are any training behaviors you'd like me to reinforce, their dietary needs, any medical issues I should be aware of, and how they behave socially. For example, if we're on a walk and a stranger asks to pet your dog, is that something that your dog would be comfortable with? Is a dog park a good idea, or does your pet prefer not to be around others? This information will help me provide the best care possible.
A typical day
We can explore parks, play with toys, and of course, I'll give your pet lots of love! I'm happy to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible with a new person.
