Hi everyone! Thank you for considering me to take care of your beloved furry friend! I've lived in Pittsburgh since 2020 and have spent the past two 1/2 years working for Rover spending time with adorable cats and dogs. Prior to moving to Pittsburgh, I grew up in Minnesota with two dogs (border collie mixes) and three cats. I played a big part in their training as I got older. I'm not able to have a pet in Pittsburgh so I started working for Rover so I could fill that void in my life! I can't wait to meet my own future fur babies in my next home. I'm a reliable, responsive, and considerate caretaker for your animal and I always do everything I can to ensure you and your pet(s) are comfortable with me and my home! I love cats and dogs of all kinds and I am experienced in managing pets with different temperaments and behaviors.

Emma was great. She stayed in communication with us every day we were away with updates and pictures. Our dog it was in great shape when we got home. Would highly recommend.
Emma did such a good job caring for our two cats while we were away. She sent detailed updates and photos after every visit so we always knew our babies were well cared for. One of our cats is very shy and usually hides from strangers, but she warmed up quickly to Emma. Emma kept the litter box area incredibly clean and also helped us out by watering our flowers and bringing in our mail. She was great! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dependable, friendly cat sitter!
Emma was excellent! She was extremely flexible with drop-off/pick-up times and communicated with us the entire time she was watching our dog and sent us lots of photos! It was a great experience overall and we will definitely try to book with Emma again the next time we go on a trip. Thanks Emma :)

My home is three floors, but the animals would only have access to the first two floors. I live with a roommate who has a dog who is very timid but sweet, so we would have to ensure your creature would be comfortable with her if you were spending time in my house. Her dog, named Rue, spends a lot of her time on the third floor. I do not have a backyard but I have plenty of fenced and unfenced play areas around my house such as the dog park and Arsenal park. My home is safe and cozy for your pet and I will ensure they have everything they need to be comfortable here. Additionally, if I am in a client's home, I will ensure to leave the space better than I found it and be respectful of their home and their pets needs in their home.

A typical day
I love to walk through Arsenal Park and around the quieter parts of my neighborhood in Lawrenceville! If you are okay with me driving with your dog, then I would love to talk them on walks in Frick or Schenley!

Availability
I work as a clinical researcher for UPMC and I work from the office (in Oakland) usually three days a week. The other days I can work from home. My schedule is very flexible, so if I need to adapt this to care for your creature that will not be a problem. I love having cats and dogs spend time with me while I work from home otherwise I am happy to work from the comfort of your own home! I ensure that throughout the day and the week I am spending plenty of quality time with your furry friend in addition to ensuring they get as many walks/meals/treats as they need!
