Emma was very quick to respond and took care of our pup on very short notice.

Emma and I went to college together, and over the years, she volunteered to watch my pup, Griffin, many times. Being a picky pet parent, I won't leave Griffin in the hands of "just anyone," and I kept returning to Emma for a number of reasons. 1: She's responsible. Emma is a planner, and she doesn't let laziness or inconvenience get in the way of doing the difficult or disgusting pet care tasks. 2: She's respectful. Emma never tried to step over any boundaries that I set, for Griffin or for my personal space. She respected my choices for Griffin's feeding times, food choice, treat options, and potty routine. I never had cause for concern about leaving Emma alone with Griffin in my apartment. 3: She's all about positive reinforcement. As far as discipline goes, I endorse positive reinforcement, and even when I caught Griffin behaving badly, Emma never yelled at/swore at/raised a hand to my dog. 4: She's a genuine pet lover. Emma is my dog's #2 favorite person. She bought his affection with cuddles and kisses and croons of "good boy!" Emma was raised with horses and cats and dogs and a myriad of other animals, and she's carried this love for animals into her adult life. More than anyone else I know, I trust Emma with Griffin, and I would trust her with my brand new puppy, too. Emma is a trustworthy, responsible, respectful, and positive pet lover, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
