Hi! My name is Emma and I am a psychology major at the University of Minnesota. I have been a dog lover my entire life, and growing up there were always at least three dogs in our household. My mother and I have fostered at least 50 dogs over the past six years, so I am knowledgeable of many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I've worked with Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Great Danes to Cattle Dogs. The dogs in my photos are mostly dogs we have fostered, sometimes playing with our own dogs. I used to work over 100 hours a year for the animal shelter in my hometown, and now that I've moved to Minneapolis for college, I am missing the time spent with local dogs. I've trained all of the dogs my family has had, as well as any foster dogs who stayed long enough to be taught. I've taught sit, stay, shake, down, leave it, roll over, sit pretty or beg, heel, and high-five. I love training both functional and fun tricks. Before I moved, I was connected with many of the dog owners in my town and often walked dogs or dog-sat, sometimes spending over five days looking after the dog(s). Caring for animals has always been my passion, and it is much more than a way to make money for me. I'd love nothing more than to meet your pup! You should know that a work a flexible nine-to-five job where I work on my own time, so I am able to tend to any emergencies during the day. It should also be noted that I don't have a car since I live on campus, so I will be walking to any appointments.
