Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life since the age of 15 but more recently have adopted a senior, special needs dog. I feel very strongly that dogs deserve the very best care because they are on this planet for only a short time. I additionally have fostered puppies and kittens through a local shelter. Very experienced with many facets of dog care including potty training, pills regiments, diapers, etc. One of my own dogs is blind, kidney and heart troubles, and has a cough. I’m very comfortable taking care of your senior or special needs pet!

Emma is a wonderful and caring dog sitter! We are so happy to have found her after our normal sitters were not available. Appreciated her updates and photos and she left some nice notes of each days events when we got home. She left the house clean and definitely felt like our three dogs were very well cared for while we were away. Thanks Emma!
Emma is an exceptionally attentive person who treated our two Labs with great love and care during our absence. We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter for our Labs, Gus (13 years) and Clove (1 year old). Emma took care of elder Gus' needs as well as played with active Clove. Emma sent updated text messages with photos daily (maybe even 2x a day!) - her communication was beyond our expectations and gave us reassurance that our animal family members were being cared for with love. We highly recommend Emma! Oh - did I mention she also watered our vegetable garden and took in our package deliveries?! Emma is the best! We would definitely ask her to care for our dogs again. We had total peace of mind knowing that Emma treated our dogs as if they were her own.
Emma did a wonderful job looking after our pups and home. Will book again.
Emma was punctual, kind, and a great communicator. Or dogs took to her right away. It was a huge help to us to have a reliable person to help walk our dogs and get them much needed exercise!

My goal will be to mimic your regiment so the dogs have little to no disruption. Any instructions you lay out, I will follow! All dogs are also entitled to lots of snuggles, lap time, etc if they are inclined :)

Fill me in on any special requirements such as medications, but also little things like “my dog doesn’t care for ear scratches” or “x” might scare one or more dogs. I want your pets to feel comfortable!
A typical day
A typical day will be determined by your dogs needs and specifications. I love to take dogs for “sniff safaris” where they are free to walk at their own pace and take in all the sniffs nearby. I also play a lot of catch with my own dogs. My favorite time of day is that little bit of tv time where dogs get lots of ear scratches and snuggles.

Availability
As a teacher I’m free for the summer and would be available all days at all times. Starting in August my availability will be evenings or weekends.
