*** Now accepting new clients! *** I am experienced in caring for dogs of all sizes and abilities, cats, and even exotics in personal, volunteer, and professional (veterinary) capacities. I grew up with dogs and a variety of other animals (chickens! goats!) and before moving to Flagstaff earlier this year, I worked at an Emergency Veterinary Clinic in AK. I can provide companionship, exercise, basic training, and administer medications as needed. Whether you need a sitter for a vacation or someone to check in on your furry friend during the day, you can relax knowing that your pet is in the best of hands. I will provide updates and photos if requested, and can accommodate a variety of special needs. I cannot provide in-home doggy daycare due to landlord pet-policy. Weekday (daytime) availability may vary as I commence massage therapy training, but I will continue to have evening and weekend bookings available starting in September. I'm so happy to find Emma! She stayed with my two whippets over the weekend while I was out of town. When I returned, the whippets were so relaxed and mellow. Whippets are known for a high level of separation anxiety, so to see them so chill when I got home was great. Emma has such a nice energy to her; very calm and caring. My dogs really liked her. Emma had great communication with me (some cute pics of the dogs as well!) and I enjoyed my weekend away knowing my furry friends were in great hands. I highly recommend Emma and will hire her again the next time I travel (if she's available). Thank you, Emma!
So impressed with dog walking skills, looking forward to house sitting booked next week! Emma is the third sitter we've tried, and she and Fred clicked right away. Very comfortable leaving our goofy Fred in good hands and to get some extra exercise while we are away!
I worked with Emma as a volunteer coordinator at our local no-kill shelter. I can honestly say that Emma has excellent handling skills, including large, strong dogs and animals with behavioral issues. She approached each animal as an individual and helped our team address behavioral problems with patience and kindness. She is hard working and dedicated to providing top notch care.

I can provide basic training using positive reinforcement. Toys, ball-throwing, petting and lots of love are all fair game!
