Pet care experience
Pet sitting has been a part of my life since I was a kid! My sister and I started a business in our neighborhood to take care of pets and water plants while neighbors were on vacation. Now, with a pet of my own, I look forward to being able to take care of your furry friend while you are away, because I know that you need someone you trust to take care of those who mean the most to you.

Emma is amazing! This was Emma’s second visit with our cats. Like the first time, she was timely, communicative, and affectionate with our babies for the full 6 days she stopped by to check on them.

I think that our animals do best in the comfort of their own home, rather than in an unfamiliar environment. I prefer to care for your pet from the place that they are most comfortable. I’ll focus on making sure to spend quality 1:1 time with your animal as much as they require- whatever that may look like. Whether it’s a long run, some time spent chasing a ball, or just lots of head scratches, I want to make sure that they are receiving lots of loving care while their humans are away.

Please let me know these details ahead of time: 1. Is your dog leash trained? Do they pull or strain, or walk side-by-side? 2. Do they get along with other dogs? 3. What is their general temperament - calm, anxious, energetic, etc. 4. How likely is your dog to lunge after another animal when on a leash (either another dog, or a bird/rabbit etc.)?
A typical day
I love nothing more than to explore new places to walk and run. If your dog is high energy, we can go for a run to get some of that exercise in; if they'd rather go slow and sniff out all of the smells then I'm happy to go on a patient walk. A game of fetch is always in the cards as well!

Availability
I work full time, but I have a flex schedule that allows me to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. I am happily able to give your pet my full attention before and after work any day of the week, but can also fit in those mid day check-ins and walks Friday through Monday. My weekends are completely free, so if you’re planning a weekend getaway, I’m your gal!
