I absolutely love all types of dogs. I have never been without a dog in my life. When I was little, my family had a Black Lab, then a Golden Retriever, and now a very rambunctious 4-year-old German Shepherd. I have always been the primary caretaker of the dogs in my life; feeding them, walking them twice a day, and making sure they got plenty of love and attention. The German Shepherd you see in my profile is my family’s dog, but I have an 11-month-old Golden Retriever of my own named Milo. My partner cares for him when I'm at work, so I'm able to take care of your pets with 100% of my attention! I am most familiar with larger dogs but am no stranger to caring for any size. During the summer of 2016, I lived in a home and cared for a one year old Yellow Lab for 4 weeks for a family that had traveled out of the country. I did the same thing this summer of 2019 with two Australian Shepherds for an entire month. I am a non-traditional student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and am looking to incorporate dogs into my more active lifestyle. My spring semester schedule has breaks in the middle of each day over lunch, with most of my classes in the late afternoon Monday through Thursday. I work overnights Thursday to Friday and Tuesday evenings at my desk job on campus. I am happy to help with any and all needs you may have involving your dog(s), whether it’s a one-time visit or a repetitive thing! I specialize in overnight stays and have had nothing but positive experiences with all of the pups I’ve encountered.
