Hi there - it's lovely to meet you! I currently work in tech full-time as a Support Engineer, but my true passion lies within the pet world. Growing up, I had two rescue dogs named Snickers (Corgi mix) and Willow (Beagle mix) which were my pride and joy. We spent every moment together, even doing advanced obedience and agility. Moving into undergrad, I studied cognitive science and psychology, spending two summers interning at the Canine Cognition Center at Yale University studying canine pro-social behavior in pet, specially-trained (seeing eye dogs), and dingos. Nowadays, I spend the majority of my free time outside of work and social time volunteering with Muttville, a senior dog rescue based in SF. I primarily work as an HQ volunteer keeping the pups enriched, but also aid their behavior team, in the vet suite, and throughout intake. Whenever I know I won't be traveling for a bit, I also foster at my own home in North Beach. I tend to take on special needs seniors, so I am not accepting boarding requests at this time. I've been officially pet-sitting for the past 6 years, taking occasional time off from Rover and sitting only for my previous clientele. Currently, I’m accepting new clients for house sitting, walks, and drop-ins!
